CRITICAL NOTICE: Criminals are targeting real estate transactions through email and phone scams. Protect yourself and your clients before sending any funds.

Our policy

A-1 Title Services will NEVER change wiring instructions by email. If you receive an email, text, or call claiming to be from us with new or revised wire instructions, do not use those instructions.

Always verify wiring instructions by calling our office at (305) 274-9898 using a phone number you obtain independently, not from the email or document in question.

Red flags

• Last-minute changes to wiring instructions
• Urgent requests to wire funds immediately
• Emails with slightly altered email addresses or domains
• Instructions sent only by email without verbal confirmation

If you sent funds to a scammer

Time is critical. The sooner you report wire fraud, the better the chance funds may be recovered.

• Contact your bank immediately and request a wire recall
• Report the incident to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at https://www.ic3.gov
• Call A-1 Title Services at (305) 274-9898 so we can assist with documentation
• Contact local law enforcement

We are not responsible for losses resulting from wire transfers sent to incorrect accounts when our published verification procedures were not followed.
